Do you offer semi monthly service?
Yes, Jeffrey’s Pool Service offers bi-monthly service, however, this arrangement is not well suited for every pool and we will not be able to guarantee the pool will be in top condition. We highly recommend weekly service.
How much do you charge for your services?
The monthly service charge is based on factors such as: size of pool, surrounding environment, accessibility, bathers load, condition, type of equipment and accessibility to equipment. Each pool is different, and monthly charges reflect these differences. Due to these factors, we are not able to render a quote over the phone. We do however provide free estimates and will be happy to come and give you a quote after assessing your pool.
Since you are an owner operator, what happens to our pool if something happen to you?
Jeffrey’s Pool Service is a member of the local chapter of SPAH (Swimming Pool Association of Hawaii). SPAH is comprised of owner-operated pool companies. The primary objective of this organization is to protect members and their businesses in the event something happens to them. If I am temporarily disabled, another member of SPAH with automatically service your pool until I am fully recovered and can take over again. The organization has done this in the past and has saved three business owners from losing their business.
Are the chemicals included in your service?
Unless the pool owner wants to supply his/hers own chemicals, we do include all maintenance chemicals in our service. General maintenance includes: chlorine/bromine/salt pH adjustments, alkalinity adjustments and weekly doses of algaecide. Emergency chemicals such as: shock chlorine, phosphate removals or larger doses of algaecide will be provided for an additional cost. Pool startup chemicals such as: calcium, stabilizer, chlorine and alkalinity are also an additional cost. Check with us for more details.
Are equipment repairs included in monthly charges?
No. All equipment repairs and replacements will be an additional cost. Service, repair and maintenance jobs that exceed $50 will be done only with owner approval.
